1. Discuss the concept of Historical Methodology.

• to define the word, it is the process wherein experts of the certain field, history, try to acquire
evidences from the past and try to construct ideas based on those.

2. Differentiate primary sources to secondary sources. Give 3 examples of each.

• Primary Sources - original documents, pieces, information that were made during the time
that is being studied.
Ex: World War 2 - letters, government documents, pictures

• Secondary Sources
- has lesser value than primary (although it is still useful).
- typically involves analysis of the primary sources it was based on.

Ex: Books, Magazines, Bibliographies

3. Differentiate history from kasaysayan.

History - literally the events that took place

Kasaysayan - root word - "saysay" which is importance. therefore, kasaysayan pertains on the
meaning and importance of the events that happened.

4. Explain the school of thought of pantayong pananaw.
