Eco: Here’s how God writes with crooked lines:

(Eco goes down the stage thru the center stairs.)

Eco narrates: The explosion of the Jesus movement started with a man
(Michael enters the stage using the stairs on the right) who was
actually trying to crush it and erase it from the face of the earth. His name
was Saul.

Eco: He was a Pharisee. He hated Christians. (Michael lakad lakad…

macho…model model :D) He saw the Jesus-Cult as the cancerous tumor
in Jewish society, infecting the pure religion of Yahweh. (Michael stops at
the center of the stage) And he believed God had appointed him to be
the sharp scalpel that would slice off this tumor before it infects others.

Michael: How can people believe that the God will choose a
fisherman to deliver his message? I have to stop this! This is
ridiculous! (Michael goes down the stage thru the center stairs)

Eco: The first time Saul appeared in the book of Acts, (The other
characters enter in groups using the stairs on the right. Once they
reached their assigned areas they freeze), it was the murder of
Stephen. He didn’t murder Stephen, but he helped those who did.

Eco: After that, Saul was unstoppable. (Michael goes up the stage with
2 other men, attacks each group. The other characters scream and
run, exit to the stairs on the right while Michael and men chase
them) He was on a rampage. He went from town to town, looking for
Christians to throw into prison.

Eco goes up the stage again using the center stairs: Saul was like a
pest exterminator, searching for Christians like they were rats. And he
heard that the rats had already escaped out of Israel, going north, as far as
Damascus. His commitment was so fierce, he chased after them.

Please note: To us, Saul was the bad guy. But in his mind, he was the good
guy. To us, he was working against God. But from his perspective, he was
working for God.

But one day, something supernatural happened. What was it? Let us
continue with Saul’s story. (Eco exits using center stairs)

Eco: While Saul was chasing after Jesus-Followers (Michael enters the
stage with 2 other men on his side) who escaped to Damascus, a Divine
Visitation took place. (Michael and men lakad lakad :D)

Luke said, As he neared Damascus on his journey (around 10 kilometers

south of the city), suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell
to the ground (Michael falls on his knees while looking up to heaven)
and heard a voice say to him,

Jesus: “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” 5

Michael: “Who are you, Lord?”

Jesus: “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” 6 “Now get up and go into
the city, and you will be told what you must do.” (Acts 9:3-6 NIV)

(Lights out)

Everyone leaves the stage using the stairs on the right.

(Lights on)

Eco goes up using the center stairs.
