VOLTECH group is one of the most experienced and professional Electrical Engineering
company in Testing and Commissioning of medium and heavy duty electrical in power and
transmission sector.

IT System used in VOLTECH Group

Voltech manufacturing company limited uses ERP’s Tally 9 for managing accounting
transactions. The main reason behind the uses of this software is because it is the most common
used accounting software throughout the country. This software not only specializes in the
accounting but it also provides assistance in the management of sales, point of sales and also
for costing to payroll to branch management can also be done within the same. This gives the
firm to flexibly analyze the TDS and GST for the purchase and the dividend payout of the firm.

The company purchases high costing parts for relay panels from various vendors such as ABB,
Siemens and Alestorm, hence it becomes more important to record these transactions with high
accuracy and effective management.

Tally ERP 9 supports all day-to-day processes from recording invoices to generating various
MIS reports. It is a perfect business management solution and GST software with an ideal
combination of function, control and in built customisability that allows business owners and
their associates to interact more in accounts related discussions and is a complete product which
retains its original simplicity but yet offers comprehensive business functionalities such as
Accounting, Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchase, Point of Sales, Manufacturing, Costing, Job
Costing, Payroll and Branch Management along with compliance capabilities for Excise, TDS,
TCS and GST.

The firm also uses AUTOCAD, also commonly known as drafters for the designing of the relay
panels and in preparing diagrams of wiring electrical system layouts.

AutoCAD is a 2-D and 3-D computer-aided drafting software application used in architecture,
construction, and manufacturing to assist in the preparation of blueprints and other engineering
plans.

While drafters work in a number of specialties, the five most common specialization areas are
as follows: mechanical, architectural, civil, electrical, and electronics.
Mechanical drafters prepare plans for machinery and mechanical devices.

Architectural drafters draw up plans for residential and commercial buildings.

Civil drafters draw up plans for use in the design and building of roadways, bridges, sewer
systems, and other major projects.

Electrical drafters work with electricians to prepare diagrams of wiring electrical system
layouts.

Electronics drafters also prepare wiring diagrams for use in the making, installing, and
repairing of electronic gadgets.

Hence the main purpose that AutoCad serves in the organisation is related to designing the
wiring electrical system and formatting the layout of wiring diagrams.
