GENERAL GUIDELINES

As the objective of the course is to build awareness amongst the participant about the process of
strategy implementation, the project requires them to demonstrate understanding of the concepts
and apply them in real world situation. Students are required to use primary and secondary research
to execute the project.
Identification of a case company for study
 Adequate justification of why the company offers learning potential from the point of view of strategy
Building a case

 Preliminary facts about the company & tentative hypothesis to be explored through research and
analysis
Preliminary Findings

 Outcome of research and analysis; Insights and findings


Final Report
 Comprehensiveness of research and understanding about strategic choices of case company
 Logical & structured analysis of strategic choices made by the company
 Generating other options – not exercised by the company and discussing pros and cons of the same
 Adherence to template and referencing guidelines
Presentation
 Ability to justify the project
