JESUS IS LORD

2019 MONTHLY THEMES

Aside from being our name, these three words, "Jesus is Lord," have been our declaration: We
declare, with faith, that Jesus Christ, sent by the Father to save humankind from sin and eternal
damnation, IS Lord. He is God and has been with the Father in the beginning and will reign with
Him until the end. We declare, with conviction, that Jesus Christ, being Lord, has power over every
authority above and below, over every sickness simple and terminal, over every circumstance
joyous and sorrowful. He has power over every life, He has power even over death, He has power
over everything. We declare, with surrender, that Jesus Christ is Lord of our lives. We acknowledge
and submit to His Lordship by allowing Him to rule over our every decision and every desire. We
allow Him to reign and take a hold of our will and of our heart. As it has been in the past forty
years, we continue to declare those three words--with faith, conviction, and submission.

JAN: Jesus is Lord over my LIFE

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10b)

FEB: Jesus is Lord over my FAMILY

“But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. (Joshua 24:14)

MAR: Jesus is Lord over my FUTURE

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm
you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

APR: Jesus is Lord over my NEIGHBORS

The King will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and
sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)

MAY: Jesus is Lord over my NATION

“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face
and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will
heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

JUN: Jesus is Lord over my FINANCES

“Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will
fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. (Proverbs 3:9-10)

JUL: Jesus is Lord over my HEALTH

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that
brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

AUG: Jesus is Lord over my BATTLES

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have
trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

SEP: Jesus is Lord over my VICTORIES

“Not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.
(Psalm 115:1)

OCT: Jesus is Lord over my CHURCH

“And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for
the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. (Ephesians
1:22-23)

NOV: Jesus is Lord over my SOUL

“If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him
from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

DEC: Jesus is Lord over the WORLD

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And
he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah
9:6)
