1. PILOTLIGHT:Indicates when the electric supply is being fed to the amp.

2. POWERSWITCH: A three position srritch - ON - OFF ON. The reason for
two ON positions is to give you the option to reverse polarity to elaminate
6OHzhum and to avoid electrical strock when touching your instrurnent.
3. BASS POTENTIOMETER: flat setting at 12 o'clock. Tum dial clockwise to
add up to 2odb of bass; counterclockwise to roll off up to 2odb of bass'
4- MIDR^NGEpotentiometer: flat setting at 12 o'clock. Turn dial clockwise to
boost or left to cut.
5. TREBIE POTENnOMETER:flat setting ar 12 c'clock. Turn dial clockwise
to add uP to 2Qdb of Treble; counterclockwise to cut up to 2odb of Treble

to obtain various sounds. The SONICCIRCUITis a separate entaty and has
nothangto do with CH I VOLUME. (CH I tone controls are still active).

13. REMOTESttrtTcHtNGJACK for CH I - CH ll & Reverb: to remotely control
channel switching and reverb with our optional dual foots-witch. To switch
from CH I to CH ll, the GAIN snitch/potentiometer must be clicked ON'
11. PREAMPOUT JACK: solely a preamp signal for use with any high page 3
quality amplifier or mixer or direct to recording console'
15. fX lOOp OUTBOARD:for use with external effects devices- The OUTPUT
feeds signal to the Effect. Volume is preset at the factory. To hookup:
connect cord from INPUT(TO INST) on device to OUTruT on preamp and
a cord from ouTPur (To AMP) of the device to INPUTon preamp' Plug
instrument into preamp. You are now able to balance the amount of effect
with the straight instrument sound.

CH ll SONIC BASS ClRCt tT - three pots control the Sonic Bass circuit and work
in conjunction with each other: GAIN - CONTOTR - BASS DRIVE
16. GAIN Potentiorneter:to activate this circuit, s:witch on GAIN pot (this auto-
matically deactivates CH l). This control by itself only affects volume.
17. CONTOUR: when adding CONTO(R, you will boost different upper frequen-
cies as you rotate the dial.
18. BASS DRIVE:tuming up the BASS DRI\rE adds low-end frequencies to the
sound you will hear as you tum up this control. Remember, these three
controls work as partners, not individually. Once you have the setting you
like, .you can tum up the GAIN to control volume. This SONIC CIRC[JITis
a separate entity and has nothing to do with CH l. You will hear that this
SONIC BASS CIRCUITis even warrner than the regular CH I POLYTONE
sound if that is possible!. Don't forget: the MASTERVOLthrE must be
turned up for the preamp to be active.
19. ON - OFF Switch for HORN

1. EXTENSIONSPEAKERJACK: output iack for use with our POLYTONEmonitor
cabinets perfectly matched for our amplifiers.
2. HEADPHONE JACK: cuts out main speaker.
3. AC CORD BRACKETS: for wrap-around storage of power cord.
1- POWERCORD: for your safety, we usie a three-wire line with a ground. lt
is not a good idea to rernoye the ground pin under any circumstances. lf
it is necessary to operate the amp with the old 2 prong plugs, a suitable
adapter sfrould be used. Operating amp with the proper grounding
receptacle reduces hazard of sftock.
5. RJSE: located in the cap of the fuseholder, this sftould be replaced with
one of proper value strould it fail. In order to keep the guarantee in effect,
you must replace this fuse with the correct rating, otherwise the warranty
will be voided. Should your amplifier repeatedly blow fuses, take it to
your nearest qualified service center for repair. FLrSERATING: 2A (25oV)
