BIOGRAPHY OF

MAUDY AYUNDA

Ayunda Faza Maudya who is usually we called Maudy Ayunda, she was born at Jakarta
December 19th 1994. She is the first child in her family, she has a sister. Her hobbies are playing
guitar, playing piano, swimming, singing and reading a book. She is a famous female singer and
actress.
She started her career since 2006 with “Untuk Rena” the movie , her role in “Untuk Rena” the
movie as Rena. At the second movie “Sang Pemimpi” she role as Zakiah Nurmala the girl who
loved by the main character and not just playing as Zakiah Nurmala, she also sing the
soundtrack for “Sang Pemimpi” the title is “Mengejar Mimpi”. Next project film on 2011 direct
by Aditya Gumay the title is “Rumah Tanpa Jendela” her role is as Andini or Aldo older sister.
And at the same year she play “Tendangan dari Langit” with Irfan Bachdim her role as Indah. On
2012 with Adipati Dolken she play “Malaikat Tanpa Sayap” her role as Mura. At the same year
she play “Perahu Kertas” & “Perahu Kertas 2” with Reza Rahardian and Adipati Dolken again,
and her role as Kugy. She isn’t just acting she also singing too. She fill the soundtrack for this
movie the title is “Perahu Kertas” and “Tahu Diri”. In 2013 she play “Refrain” with Afgan her
role as Niki, and same with perahu ketas she fill the soundtrack too, the title is “Cinta Datang
Terlambat”, and at 2014 she play “2014” the movie with Rizky Nazar, her role as Laras. At 2014
she isn’t only playing a movie, she also duet with singer from America, David Choi and the title
is “By My Side”.
First Maudy Ayunda study at TK Al – Imam after that she attend primary school in Al – Azhar but
only grade 1 and 2 , in grade 3 she move into Mentari International Jakarta until Junior High
School. After graduated by Mentari International Jakarta she continued her school education at
British International School until graduated. After Graduated she want to continued to
University but her mom say “It’s to young to you to continued to university “ because her age is
still 17th, and then she develop her career until 18th. After that she took test at international
university and the result is she received 2 best university, first at Columbia University and
second at Oxford University , and she choose Oxford University in major P.P.E”

She is the writer of a book called “A Forest of Fables”, published by Jakarta Books Publisher
(2004), also the winner of English Speech Competition Inter –International School, Jakarta,
Indonesia (2005). She also the winner of English Speech Competition Inter-International School
Jakarta, Indonesia in 2005. She receive award of Excellent in Mathematics, Language A: English,
Humanities, Language B: Bahasa Indonesia, Technology, Religion – Islam, and Civics from
Mentari International School (2010) and award of Excellent in Humanities (Economics &
European History) from British International School (2011). In 2012 she became the
panelist/speaker as Indonesian youth representative in Regional Meeting and Stakeholder
Consultation at Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia. In the same year she awarded International
Baccalaureate Diploma’s Certificate with excellent result of 43 out of 45. She accepted in well
known University in the world such as Oxford University, UK and Columbia University, US. In
addition to fluent in English, she also mastered Mandarin and Spanish. She graduated from
Oxford University in 2016 and became the first Indonesian that graduate in major P.P.E.

She is not only pretty but smart and also multi talented girl. She also very humble. She give
many inspired things and motivations to be a person that not only has many talent but also has
good manner. We can learn many things from Maudy Ayunda’s life story.
