Steps To Calculate Property Tax

1. Click on “Property Tax Calculator “

2. There would be 4 Buttons starting from Left- Right.
i. First Button “FIND YOUR CATEGORY” will help you to find District.
ii. Second button “Calculator/Manual Help” bring you here iii. Third button “OLD VT &
ASSESSSMENT PROCEDURE” will be helping to study Procedure of Assessment of
Property Tax
iv. Fourth Button “New Valuation Table” will be showing Gross Annual Rental Value of
year 2014
3. Below that you would be seeing Occupiers’ information
i. You can “Select the Region” from given radio button.
ii. iii. From Portion dropdown you can select either Ground Floor or number of Floors or
Basement exists in property.
iv. “Type Of Building” will help you to select building’s type
v. In Covered Area mention covered Area and select Unit from dropdown vi.
Also mention that is it Self or Rented.
vii. Click on Add Button to display the Occupier’s information in the form of grid below
and helps to calculate Tax
viii. You Can Edit or Delete the entered information by clicking on their buttons
respectively
4. Now give the information for calculating GARV (Gross Annual Rental Value)
i. Firstly give Total Land Area of Property in given box and select unit correspondently ii.
Covered Area will be displayed as it is it would be entered above in occupier’s
information iii. After That Select the Year of Construction of Your Property
iv. If property is Residential Select Category (Residential) assigned to locality from given
options A,B,C,D,E,F or G
v. If property is Commercial Select Category (Commercial) assigned to locality from

given options A,B,C,D,E,F or G vi. After that Select Location (Select the relevant

category) from given option Main Road or Off Road

vii. Now Select the Calculator Type from given options Old Calculator, New Calculator or
Net Payable Tax
5. Press the Button “Calculate Tax”.

The Calculated Tax will appear at the face of the Tax Calculator.
6. If you want to view the details of Calculation click on “Click here to see Details”.
7. It will show the details on which basis Tax has been calculated
8. It will open in New Tab and It will be displaying Occupier’s Detail, Property Tax
Calculation Detail & Property Tax in end
