KUNGSHAMRA

Upon arrival you will receive:


- 1 Key for your room
- 1 Electronic key for the entrance door and laundry room
You are responsible for your keys and if you loose them you will have to pay for a new lock (4500SEK)

INTERNET
Is provided by Telenor and is included in the rent.
It is already connected so you can just plug in your computer in the wall. You don’t
have to apply for it and there is no start up fee, but you need to register. Use the same
end date as your contract.

GENERAL INFO
Garbage
Carefully follow the advice about the recycling in your building. Household
waste must be thrown away at the correct place and not in the recycling rooms.
Laundry
The laundry rooms are located at Kungshamra 1, Kungshamra 43b and Kungshamra 12c. You
will get a personal laundry code
You can book a time for the laundry room online at www.sssb.se. If you have problems
booking, visit the SSSB area office at Kungshamra 1 and they will help you.
Parking
To rent a parking space please call SSSB 08-458 10 10
Cleaning
You need to keep the apartment tidy and clean. Inspections will be carried out throughout the
semester and rooms that require extensive cleaning will be charged an additional fine.

Are replaced by the tenant.

If you see any vermin in your room, please fill out the fault report form.

Please check the information at the entrance of your building.

Call 112 if you, or someone else need help from ambulance, fire brigade or police.

IN CASE OF FIRE
1.Rescue any people in danger

2.Warn other tenants and dial 112
3.Extinguish the fire if possible
Don’t walk through the smoke – it is poisonous!
If there is a fire in your neighbours room:
Stay in your room and keep the windows shut and call emergency services to
help you out.
If there is a fire in your room:
Go outside and close the door so the smoke won’t get out to the corridor.
This is a non-smoking building!
FIRE SAFETY
Make sure that the smoke detector in your room is working.
Check your fire detector by:
1.Pressing the “test button”.
2.Continue to press the button for a couple of seconds. If it beeps it works and the
test is over.
Please make it a habit to check your fire detector every now and then. Never damage or
cover a fire detector!
Fire on the stove:
Smother the fire with a lid or a blanket. Don’t pour water on it!
Candles:
Never leave lit candles unattended! Only light candles that are steadily placed in
non-flammable candle holders. If you leave the room, put out the candles first.
