Can you tell me something about yourself?

Okay then, the first thing I should mention is that My name is Quoc
An, by the way my mother named me An. Therefore, I’m originally
from An Giang province. However, I’ve left my home town moved
to here for learning. A second feature which I should mention is that
I’m a senior at HMC city university of Agriculture and forestry and
my major is Automotive engineering technology. As a matter of
fact, In the next year, I hope to have completed my degree and be
working as an engineer.
How would you describe your personality?
Well, you know It’s really difficult to describe me. One thing I can
say is that I’m hard-working and eager to learn. Therefore, I have a
sense of humor and is really fun to be around. Additionally, I really
enjoy problem solving and challenging work. On top of that I’m
really understanding people around me and a people person.

DAY 2
Can you tell me about your previous job experience, please?
Well, the main thing you need to know is that I’m in university life,
so I haven’t had major job yet. Therefore, my part-time job doesn’t
give me major experience. As well as that, I could say is that, in the
next month, I’m going to work in diesel engine repair service of
garage Toyota district 1 as an intern. Which means I would learn a
lot about job experience.
How did you like the company?
Well, the first of all in the next month I’m going to intern in the
company, that is my opportunity to approach work environment. So
I like the company.
Why are you leaving?
Well, you know. One thing I can say is that I would like to look for a
job with more responsibility and flexibility. In fact, I want to
develop myself.

What kind of job is ideal for you?

Could you describe your ideal job?
Okay then, since I was young, I have had a real enthusiasm for
automobile. Additionally, I’m a bit of petrol-head, so getting into
automotive engineering could be just thing for me.
Well the first of all, the main thing you need to know is that
automotive engineers must be creative, detail oriented individuals
with a knack of mathematics, physics and problem solving. Because
they often work in large design teams and should be good with
people and able to cooperate well with others. Therefore, automotive
engineers must be also extremely knowledgeable about cars, engines
and car safety laws. As well as that I could say that, their works are
concerned with the development vehicles such as troubleshoot and
solve engine problems.
What kind of hours would you prefer?
I’m flexible, but I prefer to have the weekends off.
What kind of hours would you like?
I’m like regular daytime hours on weekdays and don’t like working
on weekends.

What is your greatest strength?
Well you know, my initial point would be that I could see the
patterns easily and give enough information such as diagram of the
wiring system in automotive. So I think My greatest strength could
be detail-oriented.

And what about your weaknesses?

The first of all, the main thing you need to know is that my
weakness could be experience. In fact, I’m still studying in
university. Therefore, my internship is just a month. Which just give
me an opportunity to approach work environment. So I think I need
to get more experience.
Do you have any special skills that would help you do your job?
The first of all, the point I’d like to begin with is that, I’m pretty good
with computers. Specially, I’ve used Microsoft office a lot. Therefore,
I’m improving my English skill and major software skills.

DAY 5
Do you have any specific diet?
Well you know the first thing I should mention is that I’m a non-
vegetarian. Every day, my foods are meat, milk, eggs and fish.
However, I usually eat vegetarian meals two days of every month on
first and fiftieth.
 Do you like playing sports?
Yes and no, I just play sports to improve my healthy. As a matter of
fact, yesterday I played badminton, today I play football, tomorrow I
would just go walking that’s okay, I have no idea.
How many times a week do you play a sport or exercise?
Well it depends on my schedule, Four or five times a week. I go
walking in the morning and work out at the gym on the afternoon.
Tell me something about your hometown.
Well you know, my home town is Tan Chau silk village, this is a
pretty village located in the north west of An Giang province. I
suppose if I had to describe Tan Chau, the first thing I should
mention is that Tan Chau village has been famous for Its smooth silk
woven from silks with beautiful patterns and unfading colors.
Therefore, to make rolls of golden silk, the villagers are very careful
in every step of making their products from growing mulberry,
raising silkworms, nursing silk, weaving and dying fabrics. On top
of that I can also add that, the career is a hereditary profession which
has been preserved and transmitted for generations in Tan Chau.
 DAY 7
What is your favorite activity?
Well, you know. The first thing I should mention is that, my favorite
activity is gaming. In fact, it's actually the only place beside dreams
where you can be whoever you want and whatever you like. On top
of that I can also add that, you could be learned many things from
games such as Assassin's Creed helped with history, Tomb Raider
helped with survival skills. Therefore, it also develops your
personality such as player unknown battleground develops your
concentrated, league of legends develops your assertive.
Additionally, you get a knowledge about different people places,
their culture, sciences. As a matter of fact, it's also the way you can
relax without anyone disturbing you.
Have you ever done any volunteer work?
Well, you know I have to prepare for my future so I rarely
participate volunteer work, as a matter of fact I just do that in my
university such as last year I enjoyed Welcome Day helped
freshman to complete their files for signing up and I also take in
Blood Donation. In fact, these work give me a sense of self worth.
DAY 8
What is your favorite color?
Well the first of all, my favorite color is red. To me, it symbolizes
Tet holiday. The main thing you need to know is that it reminds me
of lucky, happy and have a family get together.
Is there a color that you don’t like?
Actually, I don’t like light grey color of fog. It makes me feel bleak.
Do seasons represent symbolic messages in your country?
Yes, they do. For instance, in my country summer conveys youth
 Do colors have some symbolic meaning in your country?
Yes, they do. Different colors symbolize different concepts. For
example, the color red has a special meaning to us. To be more
specific, in times of happiness and togetherness, we use this color to
bring any wonderful things to people. As a matter of fact, in the
Vietnamese culture, the color gold conveys prosperity, royalty and
change.
Which of the four seasons of the year appeals to you most?
I adore the sky and weather of rainy season. In my opinion, rainy
season is so comfortable.
