One major disincentive of being self-employed is highly competitive market in today’s

world. Competing with various multinational companies, self-employed

workers will facing the reality of falling customer figures as well as losing
chances to survive, if they run their own enterprise. For example, with the
rapid expansion of Samsung corporations in Vietnam, Vietnamese
smartphone manufacturers, for instance VinGroup, lose a lot of Vietnamese
customers. Another disadvantage of becoming self-employed is the amount of
money spent on taxes as well as losing the benefits from their previous
company. Having their own businesses, people are responsible for paying
taxes every month, in addition to this, no one provides benefits to them, such
as insurance, traveling and extra salary.

There are two main reasons why students should concentrate on particular curriculums at the age of 15.
One major incentive of this trend is that pupils have more time to put the knowledge that they have
gained into practice, thus, they are likely to gain more favorable outcomes in the future. For example,
Bill Gates is an American business magnate, Gates is best known as the founder of Microsoft
corporation, he fell in love with programing when he was 13 years old. Moreover, there is another clear
example is Steve Jobs, who was the co-founder of Apple and majority shareholder of Pixar. He started
coding at the age of 14.
Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage
of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Many argue that it is sensible for them to satisfy with their unfavorable occasions, such as
lower income and unsatisfied career path, while other think that trying to escape from such
situations is more reasonable. From my perspective, both attitudes are beneficial to some
extent.

On the one hand, there are two main reasons why people should settle to their
conditions. One major incentive of accepting present status is the guarantee of a
stable career, as a matter of fact, if workers dedicate themselves to their
company, they may have a high job position in the future. For example, with the
rapid expansion of Samsung corporations in Vietnam, if an employee has worked
for 3 or 4 year, he or she can be suggested to become a manager. Moreover,
pressure and responsibility are both main factors in this case. It is true that the
higher the profits workers earn from their enterprises, the more their pressure
and responsibility will be. Consequently, if workers are able to manage their
pressure, good salary and benefits will hold them to continuously work for their
present company.

On the other hand, I believe that people pursuing a successful career is likely to
bring favorable outcomes. Firstly, in today’s world, plenty of people reached their
goals with the enthusiasm about their fields. For example, Steve Jobs, the founder
of Apple and Pixar, a passion for technology helped Steve to overcome the
difficult time when he got fired from Apple. There is another clear example is
Kristine Ha, the Vietnamese blind chef. She overcame her disability, and won
MasterChef USA season 3.
