 Linking phrases:

You know like, to be exact…

 Conditional grammar structures:

 If (situation A)… then I will most likely…
 If (situation A)… then it‘s quite possible that I will…
 If (situation A)… then as a consequence I will probably…
 If (situation A)… then I guess it’s quite likely that I will…

Your answer is going to compare two different situations or conditions. These can be
quite flexible. Here are some possible ideas to use:

Example:
What food do you like to eat?
Answer: well, you know, I suppose that it kind of depends, really. If it’s in the summery
months, when the weather is really hot and muggy, I will usually have something with
ice, like ice cream or bubble tea. You know, they can really cool me down. On the other
hand, if it’s in wintery months and because of that the temperatures can drop quite low, I
will, of course, you know, eat something that can warm me up, such as barbecue or hot
pot. Such food is quite affordable and popular as well in Vietnam actually.
