The very first step is signing up for a HANA Cloud Platform (HCP) account. Here is how to do it:

Overview

This is a simple 8 step tutorial to walk through signing up for an account on HANA Cloud Platform.

If you already have an account on HANA Cloud Platform (HCP), you can go directly to the HANA Cloud
Platform Cockpit and then move on to the next tutorial.

Time to complete: 5 min

Procedure:

1. Go to https://account.hanatrial.ondemand.com/, and click on the Register button.

2. Fill out the Registration form and scroll to the bottom of the Terms and Conditions area to select the last
checkbox, then click the Register button.
3. You will see the registration acknowledgement. Click Close.
4. Go to your email client and look for the Registration email, click on the Click here to activate your
account button.
5. A web page opens and you will see that your account was activated. Click Continue to go back to
https://account.hanatrial.ondemand.com to log in.
6. Log in with your email and HCP account password on your laptop/desktop.

7. At the welcome screen click Continue.

8. When the HCP Cockpit loads, you can review the News and Announcements or skip them by clicking
Close.
