MEMORANDUM OF LINKAGE

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

SAN BEDA UNIVERSITY, a higher education institution duly recognized

by the Commission on Higher Education, through its Graduate School of
Law, duly recognized by the Legal Education Board, herein represented
by its Rector-President, Rev. Fr. Aloysius Ma. A. Maranan, OSB,
hereinafter called “San Beda”

- And -

____________________________ (Name of School), a higher education institution

duly recognized by the Commission, operating a College or School of Law
duly authorized by the Legal Education Board, herein represented by the
________________________(Name of President of the School), its President, and
hereinafter called the “Partner Institution”

DO HEREBY ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF LINKAGE UNDER

THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

1. San Beda shall offer the Master of Laws (LLM) degree program at
the Partner Institution following the curriculum of San Beda University,
with professors assigned by San Beda;

2. Every subject (3 units) shall be taken on one week-end (Saturday-

Sunday) per month, for two months, without prejudice to research work
and on-line sessions that the professor may organize.

3. San Beda will pay the honorarium of the professor and the travel
expenses of the professor. The Partner Institution shall provide for
comfortable transportation within the locality (to and from the university
or school) and provide for comfortable and appropriate hotel
accommodation.

4. San Beda does not guarantee the award of the degree to the
enrollees, but shall see to the delivery of forty-five (45) units.

5. To qualify for the degree, students must obtain a passing grade in

all subjects and must pass the Written Comprehensive Examination at
the end of the course, aside from satisfying all research requirements.

6. The Partner Institution must maintain an enrollment in the

program of no less than twenty-five (25) students, and even if the
number of students falls below this threshold, the Partner Institution
shall pay the equivalent of Twenty-Five Students.

7. The Partner Institution shall remit to San Beda University the

amount covering PHP 45,000.00 per student for Twenty-Five students
each semester for the entire delivery period of six semesters.
Remittances per semester may be done in three installments.
8. When, for justifying reasons, classes cannot be held, San Beda will
see to the re-scheduling of classes but will ascertain the complete
delivery of the program.

9. All academic policies of the Graduate School of Law of San Beda

University as approved by the Legal Education Board shall apply.

10. The Dean of the College of Law of the Partner Institution shall
coordinate and liaise with the Graduate School of Law of San Beda in
respect to the delivery of this program.
