At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
A. identify the different elements that made up the story
B. point out worthwhile values presented in the story
C. write a narrative paragraph similar to the theme of the story

C. Materials: marker, photocopy of the play, cartolina, pictures and video clips

Before we embark on a new lesson today,
I will divide you into four group and your
initial task is to give an acrostic meaning
of the word friend. Answers may vary

F- Friends are our angel brothers

R- Reaching us in times of problem
I- Inspiring us to fly high
E- Encouraging us to be better
N- Never leaves us
D- Diamond to be treasured forever

You might be wondering why all of a

sudden I asked you to give meaning to the
word friend. It is because today we shall
discover the power of true friendship.

Before we open the portal towards the -Students will look at the picture to be shown by
meaning of real friendship let us guess the teacher.

In order for you to have a briefer on what

the selection is all about let us watch this
short video clip. Be ready to answer the
questions afterwards.

distribute to you a copy of crossword
puzzle and your task as a group is to
answer it within 2 minutes. The group
with the most number of correct answer
will win the activity.
E. Reading Proper
Mumble Jumble Sequence Activity. -Students will sequence the story.
Each group will be given a series of
jumbled event that occurred in the story.
Your task is to arrange and read it in
class. The first group to arrange the story
correctly will be given plus point.
F. Discussion.
Now that we already know the correct
sequence of the story. Let us answer the
chart below.

the place taking into considerations the
