CHAIN OF COMMAND
Every commander has the authority to give
orders and take action to fulfill his
responsibilities. However, he cannot personally
conduct and direct the actions of all the men in
his unit. To assist him, subordinate commanders
are placed in the line of authority running from
the commander to the men of the unit.
