Chapter 1:The problem and its background

The Effects of Lack Financial Assistance to the School Performances in Grade 12-Newton
S.Y.2019-2020

Introduction

Financial stability is one of the most sources of success in every person , but as we observed
many students are suffering from crisis because of lacking in financial to provide their needs in
school . As a matter of fact poor performances of every students are very known to stop the
dreams of every young Filipinos . Absenteeism and dropping from school are such examples of
effects in financial problems .Many students who can't afford their projects , tuition fees ,
miscellaneous fees , and etc .
Indeed , fiancial is really needed but thats the reason why can't students take their high
school years and even college . It is a well-known fact that in our school has an absenteeism and
dropping issues in every level of students from primary , secondary , and tertiary education .
However , the government has taken the action to help every poor Filipinos by the
Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) which is the Pantawid Pamilyang
Pilipino Program (4P's) .They gives financial assistance to sustain the needs of young
individuals into their education . Somehow , people say's that its not enough to facilitate the
needs of their children . It is really complicated when it comes to money and the source of it
because poverty can lead to failures and problems that usually involves with several students and
parents .
Lack of financial assistance is also a problem of every students , parents and teachers now a
days . This problem leads into absenteeisms , dropping from school and poor performances .
All levels of students from primary , secondary , and tertiary levels are facing the same
issue of lacking financial assistance through their needs in school . Some students was not able to
comply the school requirements , miscellaneous fees and projects.
The said research is conducted at Laperian National High School .Laperian Tukuran
Zamboanga del Sur with the Grade 12 - Newton students as the respondents . It is therefore ,
expected that they are one who we interviewed for the researchers to gather some datas and
informations
According to wikipedia , many Filipinos are facing this kind of crisis , there are some of the
young individuals who can't fininsh their studies up to college due to financial problems .

Somehow , this indicates that the current problem is really a burden to every students and
parents .
Lack of financial assistance shows that one of the problems of students , in general , is the
poor performances and absenteeisms is an effect for this kind of problem . They fail to pass
every projects and pay some fees . This is specifically true because it is already a well-known
fact not only Laperian National High School but also in the other school. For this reason , it is
viewed that in financial problems could give failures of every students to pass their whole
subjects because of lacking in money .

Statement of the problem:

The main objective of this study is t to look and find upon the negatively effects of lacking in
financial assistance towards the students of Grade 12- Newton .
The purpose of this research is to inform every students , parents , and even the
administration of the school staff.
The purpose of this case study is to discover the effects of lack of financial assistance to the
school performance of the Grade 12 - Newton S.Y.2019-2020 at Laperian National High School.
In this research , the effect of lack of financial assistance to the school performance in
Grade 12 S.Y. 2019-2020 will be defined as significant in daily understakings if the students.

Specific Problems:
a) What are the effects of insufficient financial assistance to the students performance?
b) What are the ways that should be done in order to solve financial problems?
c) How can an individual adjust to the possible effects of the situation?
