 MONDEO FUEL CONSUMPTION
The test used to establish fuel consumption and CO2 figures has changed to deliver results that are more representative of real life driving. The Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) has replaced the old NEDC test. The Fuel Consumption figures shown are derived from the new WLTP test. However, until 6th April 2020,
the published CO2 figures will be the NEDC equivalent and this will be used to calculate Vehicle Excise Duty.

The table below shows the fuel consumption (WLTP) figures for each available engine on the Ford Mondeo. These figures may not reflect real life driving results, which will depend upon a number of factors including the accessories fitted, variations in weather, driving styles and vehicle load.

The figures shown are for comparability purposes; only compare fuel consumption and CO2 figures with other vehicles tested to the same technical procedures.

The delivery charge is included in the Basic Recommended Retail Price and is made on all models for delivery to the Dealer's premises. Where delivery is not made to the
customer at the Dealer's premises a further charge may be made by the Dealer.
The Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) charged on new cars is based on their engine's CO2 emissions* (expressed in grams per kilometre (g/km)). All CO2 emissions figures in g/km are
from officially approved tests in accordance with European Regulations (EC) 715/2007 and (EC) 2017/1151 as last amended.
The chart above shows the Bands and the VED which will be levied (for vehicles registered from 1st April 2018 onwards).
If a car's list price is over £40,000 (including VAT and factory fitted options) at first registration, the customer will pay an additional VED charge (currently £310) for five years
after the end of the first registration (in addition to the standard VED charge per year, currently £140).

VAT
VAT is shown calculated at 20%. The total price of a vehicle, including factory fitted options and accessories fitted by the Ford Dealer, will be subject to VAT on retail sale.
