Brave New World

Bernard Marx. From the story, he was being viewed as a man that is full of insecurity. He was always
described as an annoyed one like a person whose eyebrows are always meeting at the center.
Nonetheless, he is not to be blamed. The preference of the society should. He belongs to the upper
caste but his appearance is more like a Gamma minus. Many teased him that he was being thought as a
Gamma minus and that somebody has just injected an alcohol in his blood-surrogate which made him
look and behave like what he is now. But actually, in my opinion, his behavior was just associated with
his insecurity regarding his physical attributes. If you don’t feel good about yourself or you don’t have a
good level of self-esteem, it would be hard for you to have stable emotions. And socializing or getting
along with other people around you would lead you to sense inferiority especially if those individuals are
making you feel that way. I still don’t know what would happen to Mr. Marx throughout the story. Let’s
find out what kind of person Bernard would become. Is he going to stay the same? Would the society
change? What would be the major changes that would occur to him? LET’S FIND OUT.

A physical shortcoming could produce a kind of mental excess. Solitude
