I – OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students in Grade ___ are expected to:
a. Discuss the ancient art “Wayang Kulit” of Indonesia.
b. Draw and design a puppet inspired by the Wayang figures.
c. Appreciate the ancient art of Indonesia through a performance inspired by “Wayang
Wong”.

B. LESSON PROPER
1. ACTIVITY
“CHARADES”
a. The teacher will ask three representatives in the class.
b. Each of them will pick one rolled paper.
c. Each representative will act what is written on the paper and let the class guess the
word that corresponds the correct answer.
d. Afterwards, the teacher will present three images in the class.

2. ANALYSIS
a. How do you find the activity?
b. What have you observe from the three images?
c. By combining the three images presented, what do you think is our topic for today?

3. ABSTRACTION
a. Discuss the Wayang Kulit of Indonesia.
a.1. The teacher will divide the class into three groups.
a.2. Each group will be given a task card.
a.3. Each group will choose a secretary and leader.
a.4. In 5-10 minutes, they will going to have a discussion with their group.
a.5. After the allotted time, the speakers of each group will share to the class what
they have discussed within their group.

4. APPLICATION
“DRAW A PUPPET”
a. Each student will prepare a short bondpaper and art materials.
b. They will draw and design their own puppet according to their style and creativity
inspired by the Wayang figures.
c. They can use any accesories that they want to add on for designing their puppets.
d. Time alloted is 5-10 minutes, finish or not they will submit their work to their
teacher.
e. The teacher will pick 1 or 2 students to share their work.

IV- EVALUATION
“GROUP PERFORMANCE”
a. Each group will select a song.
b. They will have to present a performance inspired by the “Wayang Wong” using the song
they have selected.
c. In this performance, they will only use their body and hand figures to interpret the song.

CREATIVITY 40pts

AUDIENCE EMPACT 10pts

TOTAL 100pts
