What you say is very true, I guess ultimately people are
very rational creatures who mentally weighs all the pros and cons of someone, and the more friends they actually have, the more easily their scale tips – and they render someone an acquaintance. I reckon this is something that I have only learnt after going to uni – the distinctions between acquaintance and friends. The busier someone is, the more first impression counts for them because they’ve got limited time to judge someone.
