Good day!
The Bureau of Animal Industry through its Veterinary Quarantine Services stations, put stringent efforts in
securing our boarders from the treats of different animal diseases. Continuous information dissemination
to increase passenger awareness is one of the viable means in securing our boarders. Because informed
passengers are unlikely to carry and transport prohibited items from infected countries.

In this connection, may we respectfully seek your consideration, for our office to install information
materials in strategic location in the form of relevant posters, as well as infomercial text that will be
shown in LED TV at the Departure Area, to emphasize that hand carried or luggage meat is not allowed
entry especially coming from, but not limited to, countries affected with animal diseases such as ASF, and
also to impose bio-security in this Port.
