EPOXY APPLICATION ON BEAMS WITH EXTREME HONEYCOMBS

1. Chip loose concrete in the honeycomb until we reach the solid part of the beam.

2. Enclose the honeycombs using phenolic board.

3. Seal the edges of the phenolic board by cement and epoxy mixture to avoid leakage of the epoxy.

4. Chip small hole on the beam for the access of the epoxy.

5. Mix 1 part of structural epoxy (Omni Grout 035) and ¾ part of silica sand.

6. Continuously pour the structural epoxy-silica sand mixture to the hole until it completely occupied the
honeycombs.

7. Strip the phenolic board after 2-3 days of epoxy application.
