The general problem of the study is: How does emotional intelligence of Grade 6
pupils relate to their academic achievement?

Specifically, this study sought answers to the following questions:

1. What is the level of emotional intelligence of Grade 6 pupils?


2. What is the level of academic achievement of Grade 6 pupils?
3. Is there a relationship between emotional intelligence and academic achievement of
Grade 6 pupils?
