Concerto/Aria Audition Schedule

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your performance time for check-in and warm-up.

We will have an information meeting on Tuesday, August 13 at 1:00 p.m. in the FHSH
Orchestra Room, please bring the following with you….

1. An original copy of your piece (if you haven’t already turned one in) for the
judges to use during your audition. (Please # measures, and cuts clearly marked).
2. If your original part for the judges is the solo part, please bring a photocopy of
the accompaniment part.

On Wednesday, August 14, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your performance
time for check-in and warm-up. Please enter the building at the doors at the end of the
music hall, on the WEST side of the building, (across from the baseball fields).

When you arrive, make sure you have all the equipment you need for your
performance. You may warm up in the orchestra or band room prior to your audition.

Auditions are open to the public, friends and family are encouraged to attend. Please
be sure to enter and exit between performances.
Dress the part. Make sure to wear clothing that makes a professional statement. Men
should wear dress clothes and a tie. Women should wear dress slacks and blouse,
dress, or skirt and blouse combination. Skirts or dresses should be below the knees.
No jeans please.
