Features

• An aggressive drill bit that provides a great

penetration rate under tough conditions

• An excellent penetration/lifespan ratio

• Better resistance to abrasion in granite

• Reinforced to preserve the inside and

outside diameters

• Ideal for medium to very hard abrasive

ground (from 5 to 6.5 on Mohs scale)

• A special matrix that allows the diamonds to

come into contact with the ground very
quickly for better penetration

• To optimize its penetration rate and lifespan,

regular sharpening with a high pressure feed
is recommended

• Ideal for very hard to extremely hard ground

between 6.5 and 7.5 on the
Mohs scale

Importance of
Drilling Additives

Always use drilling additives with the HERO Abrasive

series to get better performance.

• Product choices: DD2000, Torqueless

Try to obtain the most homogeneous mix.
• The minimum recommended viscosity is 40
seconds (vs. 30 seconds for water, as measured
using a Marsh funnel)
• Don’t forget that viscosity will change according to
the type of ground.
• Our technical team is always available to help you,
contact them for assistance.
