 Yes, there are quite many to cite of. Bicolano dishes make use of
chilies and coconut so that’s why we prefer spicy and anything
with ‘gata’. The examples of our special food preferences are
Bicol Express, Laing, Linupak, etc. Here in Legazpi City, the
buying habits of people was also based on their preferences

way we dressed, varied the most. But the unique is when an
abaca was used in making dresses.
 This take along the cultural and historical factors such as a

native dishes created and established its name.

2. Who is your peer or reference

group? (The people of your age
that you usually hang out with)
Does your group have a special
interest that infl uences what you
do or buy?
 My family and friends influences me on what I do or buy.
Since I value their suggestion on what to buy or eat, I
also happen to purchase what they like. Sometimes I
didn’t actually had an interest to buy something but as I
said, I’m encouraged even if I wasn’t forced to. Thus,
they have the power to change my decision and it did
have an impact to my purchasing habits.
