My Reflection of the “IMPORTANCE OF

LOCALIZED MATERIALS “

I recognized their importance in my life in a way that theirs actually a lot of Filipinos who are
talented. I saw a lot of local shops selling baked goods, clothes, foods, and accessories made with
local materials. Although I didn't buy anything, I appreciate their efforts and talents for using it
specially now amidst the pandemic. We know that there are great advantages of having localized
materials implemented or adopted on our educational system.

I believe that the importance of localized materials in my life has helped me to appreciate the

beauty of our own. I don't have to buy branded clothes or shoes for me to look classy because we

have a lot of it made with the hands of talented Filipinos. It can help us to be more creative. It

can also help us to make a good product even from simple materials. This is important because

we can better prove that we are a patriot in our community. This will help us to better develop

our culture, where our community is rich. And the most important thing is the rich in nature. We

will also know because of our own products through local materials what their origin is and how

our community was recognized.

So, it is important that we value the wealth of our community as it is the wealth of nature. If

possible, each of us should also learn how to process our community product. But the important

thing is that we appreciate ourselves. You don't deserve to be called a Filipino if you don't

appreciate the beauty behind our locals.
