Sekar Ponniah, is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer of Torus Innovations Private Limited a
leader in software, services and solutions that help businesses realize their full potential. He is
the Chief Architect of Torus Low Code Dev and DevOps Platform, appreciated by Gartner as the
unique high-productivity Low Code Platform, using third platform open source technologies.

He completed his Electrical Engineering as one of the top rankers from Government college of
Engineering and worked in Indian Corporates for 12 years and continued his journey in USA for
16 years during which time he contributed to businesses to achieve the full benefits of
technological developments.

A passionate technocrat, he has more than 3 decades of experience in the IT industry, and has
built and deployed numerous products and services in the payments processing and process
automation space with experience in Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Manufacturing and
Government.

Sekar Ponniah believes in “giving back to society”, and this prompted him to commence the
Indian venture and left USA for the same. There again he started his Unit at Tirunelveli, to create
employment opportunities. His ventures expanded to Siruseri IT Park, with a second
establishment and grew further to Kenya and back to USA.

His products are used by many banks in USA, India, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and South
Sudan, meeting the compliance requirements of the Central Banks of these countries.

The Company has achieved many awards and citations in the news media and from the industry
associations. He has been declared as the Entrepreneur of the Year, a couple of times from
Industry publications.

He strongly believes that Low Code Mode of Application development coupled with block chain
technology is the future of IT.

Sekar Ponniah is married to Mrs.Vijaya Lakshmi. They have two sons.

Rotarian.
