(Early Submission)
Deadline of Passing: January 28,2019

Questions :

1) What makes a city global?

A global city has wealth, power and influence to other countries. Global cities are to share by
many of the same characteristics because of their connectedness and shared experiences
of globalization. They all exhibit clear signs of deindustrialization. They possess the
concentration of financial and service industries within their spatial boundaries, as well as
the concentration of large pools of labor.

2) What is your opinion about our country being included in the list of developing
countries?

It's quite disappointing that Philippines is one of the countries that is included in the list of
developing countries. Why do I say that? Honestly, we people living in our own country
makes us the Philippines more on developing— not improving. Well in the mere fact, we can
reach the developed part of it, we all know that Philippines is rich in beautiful places which
we can preserved more, but what people do? Most beautiful places in the Philippines are
now undergoing rehabilitation because of tons and tons of waste that produced by
manufacturers in our country and the major cause is we—people who are not aware about
the consequences of our acts. In waste management? We got the second MOST country
who produced waste over a thousand of years. The Philippines is always last when it comes
to improving— in education, technology, process of government , time-taking and applying of
laws, promoting of health, curative form of health, etc. For me even if it is quite disappointing
that Philippines is included, I can say that we deserve to be still considered as developing
country, our country which we own is not always there to adjust about our needs, maybe we
should first learn about preserving, giving importance and be disciplined at all times. So that
the Philippines will reflect about Filipinos living there and the way of implementing the right
way to become more deserving about advancements and changes.
