Today’s I answered pre test, this is all about the equipments and apparatuses that we
usually encounter and use in a Phlebotomy unit/section. I answered it easier because I
really know and familiar about the names and the uses of each equipments. I saw my
score and grateful that I got a great score.

PL ACTIVITY 1(Situational Activity)

November 21,2021

Today’s I answered a situational activity that we encounter in phlebotomy unit or doing

a venipuncture. The questions are based on what we experience when in terms of getting
samples to the patients. At first it really confusing but at last I answered it correctly.
I realized that when you are doing your job or profession you need to be committed to
that and always ask to your senior medical technologist to avoid any mistakes like having
a wrong specimen and unidentified specimen this is the common problems that we
encounter and experience in phlebotomy unit.

PL ACTIVITY 2(Do’s and Dont’s in Phlebotomy

Today’s I answered the activity by choosing do’s and dont’s in different situations. I
really confused at first and it really something new to answer and because of that I really
learned a lot of knowledge that will be beneficial and important for my future profession.
In this activity I learned that we need to choose wisely in every actions and decisions we
make not only with this unit but also in our life like choosing our needs and set aside our
wants in life in order to be successful in our profession but also to survive our entire life.

Today’s I answered the post test ,the questions are related to the pre test. It is all about
choosing equipment based on the given functions of each equipments. When I saw my
score I feel happy and grateful.

PL SHIFTING EXAM
December 2,2021

Since, it also about the phlebotomy I am pretty sure that we are all remember and know
when in terms of this section/unit. Phlebotomy section is a vital part of any healthcare
practice because all of the specimens are stored in this section. It is also more critical
when in terms of doing venipuncture but luckily we experience doing this in a school or
laboratory with the guidance of our instructors.

Today’s I answered the pre test . it is all about the equipments and apparatuses that we
found in the blood bank and serology unit. It quite difficult to answer because I am not
familiar about the picture.

Today’s I answered the activity and it is all about identifying and analyzing every
situations that we encounter in blood bank unit. This kind of activity will be useful for us
especially we have no face to face class and we only rely on how we read and assume
that we are in that situations, I learned a lot and grateful about the outcome.

December 18,2021

Today’s I answered activity in blood bank unit, it is all about ABO/Rh typing and
crossmatching. The questions is all about identifying the blood type, ABO/Rh blood type
and interpretation of results of crossmatching. I am grateful about my score not high but
good score.

As usual the post test was the same in our pre test the difference is the questions because
in this activity they only give a functions and we need to identify it. I got a great score
because I really know it in the pre test.

Honesty, when I answered the shifting exam I always felt nervous may be it requires a
lot of efforts, knowledge to be able to answer the questions very well. I know that blood
banking section is one of the major and difficult subject but when you do your best to
answer it correctly the feeling was so priceless.

In clinical chemistry unit VMMC gave a situational activity about what we need to do
when we are in that situation. Like what I said later it is very useful to us to better think
what is the best decisions in every situations.

Today’s VMMC assigned this kind of activity. Honestly when I saw the title I felt
nervous but when i open it and answer I felt relieved and confident about what will be the
outcome.

Today’s I answered fifty items exam about clinical chemistry and immunology unit. It
quite difficult to answer but when I saw the outcome of my work it make me proud of
myself that I got a great score.

Today’s I answered pre test in microbiology unit. It is all about the equipment that we
usually encounter in this unit . I got the great score.

Today’s I answered a situational activity about microbiology unit we only need to

choose the best answers. It is a little bit confusing but when you analyze it very well you
got a great score. Another learnings and knowledge that I learned today.

Today’s another learning’s and knowledge that I learned by computing the numbers of
solution. I really enjoyed answering because I love to compute especially if I really want
and know how to compute and got the correct answers.

Today’s I answered the post test it quite easy to answer when you study the pre test and
discussions that uploaded in our canvas application. I got a great score it make me feel
happy and motivated.

Today’s I answered a shifting exam with nervous , nervous because I don’t know if my
learning’s is enough to answers all the questions and nervous because I have a weak
connection because that time I am in the province and really don’t know to make myself
calm during answering the questions. It really difficult but I do my best and I got a great
score.
All of those difficulties when answering the test and quizzes this finals was worth it, even
if there’s a time that we experience hard time, tiredness and breakdowns but we and I are
always grateful that we are all passed those challenges. Just keep learning, moving and
dreaming.
