supplies and materials are available. The CBLM and learning modules are on place. The multimedia and PPEs
are prepared for the training.

training center for the COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING NCII qualification.
To start, I have here the master list from the registrar office and as per checking I have two students for this
qualification. For attendance, please affix your signature here. Thank you so much

Before the proper orientation, I have here two structured questionnaires.

First is the DATA GATHERING TOOL. The purpose of this Data Gathering Tool is for me to determine your
background. Your personal information, your educational background, your characteristics as a learner and
your learning style.

Please answer this honestly because the result of this test will help me determine in designing my session plan
that is aligned to the needs of the learner, so that I will give you 5 mins to answer. Time is up!

In this training, we use CBT approach in teaching….

What is CBT?

CBT is a competency-based training. It is a unique mode of training. It is very different from the traditional
teaching. Since CBT is LEARNER CENTERED.

Here, I will give you series of task, the information sheet, task sheet and job sheet which will develop your
skills, attitude, and knowledge in this qualification.

COMPETENCY-BASED TRAINING IS ANCHORED TO 10 CBT PRINCIPLES, AND THESE ARE:

10 CBT PRINCIPLES
Read no. 1---so meaning our training here is develop from the competency and the curriculum was
crafted from the competency standards.

So, what is COMPETENCY STANDARD? Competency standard is a written promulgated that specifies the
knowledge, skills and attitude expected in the workplace which means that our training here is based on the
actual industry practices.

Read no. 2---it means our learning here is by module. I unit of competency is equal to one module, and you
have the option to choose which module you wanted to take first. If it is within reason.

Read no. 3---so our training here gives you the freedom to learn on your own pace. If you are a fast learner
then you can advance in the activity and finish earlier, and if you are a slow learner, no worries because you
could take your time to develop and enhance your competency.

ROLES OF A TRAINER
Read no.1---- because in every module you are going to take. I will show you and guide you on the task you
need to do, to develop your skills, knowledge, and attitude to master the competency.

Read no. 2----you have the option to take the module at your own pace as long as you follow the guidelines.

Read no. 3----in every practice that you are going to tackle, you must decide if you are already read to take the
assessment. If your think you are not yet ready you have the amply time to practice.

Read no. 4--- It means you will be receiving rewards in a form of certificates if you pass the assessment.

The purpose of this Quick Tour is for you to be familiarize all the workstation in the area. So that by tomorrow

LEARNING RESOURCE AREA

This is the area that serves as your library. You will do your research in this area.

PRACTICAL WORK AREA

This is the heart of the training facilities. This is the area where you apply your skills, knowledge, and
attitudes in this qualification. You do all practices in this area.
QUALITY CONTROL AREA
This is where we evaluate and check your task sheet/ job sheet/output based on performance standard.

INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT AREA

This is the area, where we conduct written test, performance test and oral questioning. This is also where
we monitor and check your progress and achievement chart.
TRAINING RESOURCE AREA
This is where I, your trainer makes the CBLM, session plans or any learning resources that can be used in
training.

CONTEXTUAL LEARNING AREA

This is the lecture area. This is where we will discuss the basic and common competencies. This is the
area, where I will post the documents that will help manage your training. If you want to know your
assignments, you just must go here.

COMPUTER LABORATORY
This is where you develop your IT competencies. If you want to browse the internet or use Microsoft
word, excel or PowerPoint. You can visit here.

DISTANCE LEARNING
This is where you can get information outside the learning center or do research if you have difficulty in the
CBLM.

SUPPORT SERVICE AREA

This is where you acquire additional competency.

matrix. In the activity matrix, I already assigned you in your different workstation.

INSTALLING AND CONFIGURING COMPUTER SYSTEMS. Take this module. Read the information sheet
1.1-1 to 1.1-5 and you need to answer all the self-check, then compare your answer to the answer key. If in
case you fail, all you must do is to read again the information sheet and answer and compare your answer in
the self-check. If you pass you can proceed to the next information sheet. If you’re done, please review all the

in three sets of assessment.

QUESTIONING.

Next, is the DEMONSTRATION. You are required to INSTALL AND CONFIGURE COMPUTER SYSTEMS.
Please wear you PPEs and follow the safety precautions in performing. Your 2 HOURS starts now. Time is

Lastly is the ORAL QUESTIONING.

1. How do you obtain a copy of ISO image of Windows 10 OS installer?

2. How do you prepare installer in installation of OS?

3. In the absence of bootable device, what alternative device should you use to install OS?

In this ASSESSMENT VALIDATION, based in the WRITTEN TEST you got 19/20, you pass! In the
DEMONSTRATION, you were able to INSTALL AND CONFIGURE COMPUTER SYSTEMS yet there are
some aspects you need to improve LIKE THE PROPER HANDLING OF THE TOOLS, AVOID HOLDING THE
TOOLS IN A WRONG WAY AND DROPPING THE TOOLS. In the ORAL QUESTIONING you were able to
answer all the questions correctly.
