What is Power BI?

A Business Analytic tool that delivers insights throughout your organization.


User friendly and simple, but on the other hand powerful and mature for complex data mash-up and modelling.

Power BI exists of six components:


• Power Query: Data mash up and transformation tool
• Power Pivot: In-memory tabular data modelling tool
• Power View: Data visualtization tool
• Power Map: 3D Geo-spatial data visualization tool
• Power Q&A: Natural language question and answering engine
• Power BI Desktop: A powerful companion development tool for Power BI

Download PBI content: Create a folder ”DIAD” on the C drive


• Download from USB Drive OR

Add the downloaded ”Data” folder to the ”DIAD” folder

Importing Data
