PROOF WEDGE

3.3.2 Adjustment of the distance between wedge block and rail

Open the wedge to measure whether the distance C from the front end of wedge block
(Pos.8) to the top face of rail is 10-15mm, if not, please re-adjust again, specific methods
as follows (refer to figure 8):
o Anti-clockwise rotate the locknut to make it be unscrew to a certain distance;

¡ Clockwise rotate the adjusting bolt, C will decrease, on the contrary the C will increase,

repeatedly adjust it ti1l H meet requirements;

o Close the wedge, check the S and H, if cannot meet requirements, please re-adjust them

again (refer to 3.3. 1 );

3.3.3 Adjustment of release indication switch

Wind-proof wedge is equipped with ¡elease limit switch, which is used for interlocking protection or

signal/failure indication. Switch has two types: stroke switch and inductive proximity srvitch. Switch

has been well installed before wedge left factory relevant inspection should be done before operating,

and connect conesponding soft cable according to requirements of main machine, if found any

abnormalities, please make adjustrnent according to above methods.

3.3.3.1 Wiring of limit switch

¡ The inner contactors of limit switch are shown as Fig 9, thread of line inlet is M20x 1.5, capacity of

2x0.75mm2, and its flexibility car. ensure that the connection may not be damaged when brake
