a more intellectual reasoning. The power of church is weakening

Nietzsche was a German philosopher, essayist, and cultural critic. His writings on truth,
morality, language, aesthetics, cultural theory, history, nihilism, power, consciousness,
and the meaning of existence have exerted an enormous influence on Western
philosophy and intellectual history.

Known for:
“Death of god” –humans being naturalistic, not solely relying
on God Belief theory. Casting away the governments support for
God.
Eternal Recurrence – is a theory that the universe and all existence
and energy has been recurring, and will continue to recur, in a self-similar
form an infinite number of times across infinite time or space.
Ubermensch - is the person who is able to break from the illusion. The ubermensch
recognizes that society's definition of morality is biased and socially-construct. Living by
his own moral code gives the ubermensch a deep sense of morality a steadfast
purpose.

“Will to power” - believed to be the main driving force in


humans. A motive of a human being of its Desire.
