Subject: Industry 4.0 as an academic career.

It is with great honour and privilege I write to you this note with the sole and humble intention to leap jump your
education institute(s) into Industry 4.0 I come with abundant industry experience of over 34 years and emphasis
on Industrial IoT as the Industry’s answer to IoT. As the world is getting digitized, we see our lives already
undergoing massive transformation without realizing. Professional organizations no longer seek to invest in hires
to shape their careers but they want ‘Industry leaders’ right at the young age to lead this transformation. Very
soon we would find specializations like Industry 4.0 or IoT as a full time degree courses and our next generation
needs to be fully equipped to lead this transformation.

I passed out MSc in 1st Grade specializing in Electronics from Uni. Of Pune in 1984 and lucky to get opportunities
over the past 34 years that lead me to bring ‘changes’ to the next generation I worked with reputed organizations
like Siemens, Rockwell Automation, General Electric and KPIT Cummins before I successfully founded and co-
owned 4 international technology start-ups in IT and Industries. I have worked in USA and UAE as CEO / Managing
Director and as an entrepreneur for 17 years. I have delivered several seminars / webinars on embracing the
changing world. I have successfully executed over 100 projects. I have hired, trained and made successful careers
of over 150 engineers and supporting staff.

I am keen to contribute to the changing world at that the grass roots. And I believe your esteemed institute is
quite willing and capable to leap jump into this transforming world of Industry 4.0 While we can discuss at length
the way forward subsequently, here below is a brief of how we can together work towards this goal.

GOAL:
To create employment opportunities and entrepreneurs
To be the leader in creating Industry 4.0 students
To generate revenues through private funding

- Design a course curriculum for 1 complete academic career.

This can be at the 4th Year of engineering or it can be a post graduate course with 30% Theory and 70%
live projects with the possibility to be approved by AICTE. All the projects will be industry standard advised
by industry experts and will prepare the students to be accepted as Engineers and not trainees.
The projects will cover diversified interests such as Robotic Automation, Process Automation and such
other which students have a choice to select.
These projects will meet current application requirements and will be part funded by industries.
Participating students will have the opportunity to be employed by the user / owners directly.
- Set up Labs to cater to such requirements
This will be futuristic for atleast 5 years.
Will have the possibility to be funded from private companies
May also be hired out to generate funds.
- Set up an Industry Standard:
To gain international recognition and enrol foreign students
To accept external projects using internal resources

Time Frame: One year for setting up the infrastructure so that a beginning can be made from next
Academic year.
