Learning Motivation:

Todays consumer has higher expectation. Not to mention, they are busier and rely heavily on
apps to make their everyday activities easier. Zomato is one such online food ordering
application that offers the users the ease of ordering food from their homes. The industry that
zomato falls in is growing rate of 15% per quarter. We are also the consumers of the application
hence highly satisfied with their service but we have analyzed that the company lags in
connecting with it's Facebook audience hence we would like to study thus industry based on its
social media audit.
There are many challenges that the company is facing in its services which are being raised by
the customers on the social media. The issues are well-handled by the company in words on the
social media platform so as to retain the trust of the customer but we are looking forward and
keen to know how the brand will be able to keep these words into action.
There is a lot to learn from the company as it is able to gain the interest of the people on social
media specially Twitter.
With the humorous tone and creative view of presenting the thoughts company is successfully
able to engage customers especially on twitter where all the tweets which are made are relating
the social issues with the food.

Career motivation:
Understanding a brand's modus operandi, will give a wholesome idea about the digital activities
of the industry which will prepare us for bigger opportunities coming our way in the future.
This being a growing industry adds more importance to our project with respect to our careers
because opportunities and the kind of marketing will exponentially rise in the future.
Shubham Mishra: As I have done my summer internship with the company as a launch intern. I
am well aware with the problems company is facing on its social front and its services. I wish to
give some solutions to it by this project.

Industry motivation:
As our project deals with analyzation of the company lagging on a certain platform and the
engagement of their customers, who are most important for zomato to grow further the
organization needs to take a look at which platform it lags, understand it's customers on that
platform and hence create the content that would be engaging for the people there. This would
lead to zomato's growth as the number of consumers engaged would increase and hence the
revenue and reach of the organization would increase by many folds.
