REFLECTION

Friars Indulgence and Brutality

In the Rizal's film, friars were so greedy even the government. The indios which filpinos
served the friars and do what they want. Filipinos desiring a common welfare and searching
for the best cure and they do what the ancients did when they sick, they lay on the temples
or church steps so that anyone who comes to pray might offer them remedy thats why they
attend the church to pray ruled by the spanish friars which under the guise of religion had
impoverished and brutalized them just like what Jose Rizal wrote in his novel "Noli Me
Tangere". The friars false belief and exploit the holy word were making them to believe in
lies which could put catholicism to shame. They even torture filipinos with no such power
and slaved them who can't fight back unless they want to be killed after and brutalized
children and women with no doubt. In church during that time friars words are opposite to
their works, they use god's name but they are the one whose committing a sin and doing
anomaly in church and even manipulate the people of the philippines which the filipinos.

It's been so blessed us now by not experiencing that kind of brutality and indulgence that
friars did during rizal and it is so clear to know what really happened and that all filipinos
suffered in the hands of the spanish. I may not be the one who experience it but watching
filipinos life before is so sad and spanish colonization and the friars don't have even mercy.
They're indulgence and brutality gave history to all filipinos. Their selfishness and greedy
personality become so an ettiquitte towards their actions. They can even accused and then
killed filipinos without hesitation, accused them which lead them to death though they
dont even know what their sin.
Also, filipinos don't have the right to defend themeselves especially the lower classes which
the indios, they don't had the right to speak what they want or not they will be punished by
the guardia civil of spanish regime. There is no human rights and equality that filipinos
wishes to had but friars continously abuses our country and the people especially children
and women. Before, I can't even imagined what they like while experiencing it but they
make a film that Cesar Montano portray rizal's role. They make it as reality of philippines
sitaution wherein many filipino sacrifice and use their hands just to commit their hope of
freedom but Rizal used pen to fought for our country that became him as the national hero
wherein his two novels "Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo" teached and gave us "the
constant and inspiring source of patriotism which the minds of the youth".
