    I’m writing to you today to apply for the post of the position of research assistant
    for the UGC Sponsored project on “Gender Gap on Mathematics: Real or
    Imaginary” under your supervision. I read a few of your published articles and was
    going through the website of Lady Shri Ram College when I came across your name
    and the availability of this position.
    I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Psychology(Hons) from Jesus and
    Mary College, University of Delhi. I have been a meritorious student throughout
    my academic life and have always been inclined towards research. I’ve gone
    through the details of the project and understand the responsibilities of the research
    assistant. I will give my 100% to this project.
    I love working in a challenging environment and will devote my full time and
    energy into this 6 month project. Learning in any form is very valuable for me and
