4. How do you find a single number or name you want in a large


worksheet containing thousands of numbers and names?
Answer:-We should Use the Find command. Press Ctrl and F to start it.
5. How do you format a number on an excel spreadsheet?
1. Select the cell or range of cells that you want to format.
2. On the Home tab, under Number, on the Number Format pop-up menu ,
click Custom.
3. In the Format Cells dialog box, under Category, click Custom.
4. At the bottom of the Type list, select the built-in format that you just
created. For example, 000-000-0000.
5. Click OK.
6. Is it possible to replace a name or number with some other name
or number? How?
Answer:-The easiest way to do what we are looking at is to add an
additional column to the sheet with hours and employee ID and the do
a VLookup in the new column.
7. How do you select a single cell a single column a single row a
cluster of cells and a worksheet?
To select non sequential cells, click the first cell, hold down the Ctrl
key, and click each additional cell (or row or column) we want
to select. To select the entire worksheet, click the small box located
to the left of column A and above row 1. Optionally, we
can select all cells in a worksheet by pressing Ctrl+A.
8. Write the difference between move cells and copy cells.
Ans : Move cells involves changing the location of the content of
the cell while copy cellsinvolves making a duplicate of the cell.

do?

1. Select the cell range we want to sort. ...
2. Select the Data tab on the Ribbon, then click the Sort command.
3. The Sort dialog box will appear.
4. Decide the sorting order (either ascending or descending).
