Speech on Friendship!

Friendship is one of the purest forms of relation that exist on this earth. Getting a sincere and
loving friend is perhaps the best gift from God, which only lucky few gets. Infact, life becomes so
very meaningless without a true friend’s presence beside you. Isn’t it?

When you have a bunch of amazing friends, journey of life becomes more joyous and vibrant.
True friends are there to laugh at your joy .Again when you shed tears, who else can be beside
you to lend his shoulder other than your friends?

Friendship is the only relation on this earth which is truly priceless. We may acquire all
materialistic pleasure by putting our effort. But even then life remains dull, unless you can share
your life with one or handful of genuine friends.

Human being always tends to long for emotional support and a social life. They crave for love
and compassion everywhere. In-spite of possessing everything in life, why there remains a
vacuum at heart? It happens only when you have no such good friend to share your small and
small happiness of life.

Often we can not share our deepest secrets with our family members even. But only if we have a
true friend, it gets so easy to share your inner thoughts with the one. Friends are always there to
listen to you.

A true friend may criticize you so that you may come out of your shortcoming. He may guide like
a tunnel of light, when you take a wrong path. He may scold you if you commit a mistake and
shows you the right path. That’s why it is being said that true friend is more precious than any
gem.

Friendship will provide you with thousands of fun moments in life which you will memorize
while you grow old. But side by side, at times this relation also passes through moments of
crisis. Misunderstanding may crop in and this amazing relation may start shattering. Always be
the first one to save your friendship. Maybe you are yet to realize the true worth of your friend.
God forbid, if due to some unfavourable reason distance ever arises within this relation, never
let your friend go. Hold his or her hand and apologize if you are wrong somewhere. There is
nothing more pathetic in your life than losing a true friend. Never ever forget that.

Friendship is a relation which is as tender as a new born baby. Which is always pure and a
bundle of joy which only needs more and more nourishment to grow, which is tons of love and
compassion from both ends. Never ignore your friends or take them for granted. You may come
across various people at various phases of life. Many may pretend to be your friend. Many may
appear to be glorious apparently. But never go by the outward glitter.

A true friend will not only be beside you when your life is a rosy one. Rather when you are
passing through a tormenting phase, if you can find someone beside you He is only a genuine
friend. Love of your friend will always be unconditional. They may expect nothing from you but
shower their love to you always.

Friendship- Is a divine word. Treasure it! Crave for it in life if you don’t have one. Try to search
out the one. Like our guiding stars they are always around us. We need to have an eye to search
the one out from the crowd. If you already have someone likewise, nothing like that. Value him
the most. If not, he is somewhere around. Figure him out! Thank You
 Role Of Friends In Our Life
Friendship is one of the most beautiful and fragile relationships in the world . Our friends are our pillars of
strength and give us the much needed support and comfort that we all seek in life . Spending time with
true friends is one of the greatest joys in the world and many movies,songs,TV serials have been made
as a tribute to this lovely relationship .
So why are friends so important in our lives ? Why is the value of a true friend equated sometimes even
with a parent or a soulmate ? And what is that invisible bond that holds friends together for years and
sometimes even a lifetime ? And most importantly ,what are the lessons in life that friendship teaches us
?
Trust
The word "Trust " is very important in any relationship ,and it is true for friendship also . In fact ,the very
foundation of friendship between two people is based on mutual trust and understanding .And it begins at
an early stage of life itself ,when you tell your friend secrets about your teenage crushes and confide in
them about your heartbreaks . The trust grows as the frienship matures ,in fact sometimes we trust our
friend more than our parents and siblings .We also trust the judgement of our friend blindly ,having the
confidence that they wont lead us wrong.
Sharing
Another key basis of friendship is mutual sharing between friends .In fact friendship usually gives us the
first lesson in "sharing" in our lives ,when we share our toys and favourite possesions with a friend as a
toddler.From our lunch boxes in school ,to office gossip ,even clothes before a party ,everything seems
better when shared with a friend !!Sharing teaches us to be unselfish and generous and is one of the
sweetest aspects of friendship .
Most beautiful moments in life
If we try and recall ,definately some of our most wonderful moments in life will be those spent with our
friends .Sleepovers ,our first smoke and drink ,bunking college and going to the movies -such memories
always lighten the heart and bring a smile to our faces . The carefree days of playing together as kids in
the park ,the fights and then the make up ,all of us have experienced these memories in our childhood .
Even now ,calling a few friends over a game of football makes it more exciting ,while for women there is
nothing more enjoyable than a shopping spree with their girlfriends on a gal's day out !! These small but
unforgettable moments shared with friends make our life beautiful and satisfying .
Friends accept you for what you are
One of the best things about friendship is that in front of friends you can be truly the person you are ,and
they will love you for it . True friendship can cross the narrow barriers of religion ,financial status ,colour
,sex ,even country .Remember the first friend that we made in our Playschool or nursery - we did not
make that person our friend because he was rich or good looking ,he became a friend because we liked
him . Similarly ,true friendship is based on excellent understanding between two or more people .While
the rest of the world may judge us ,our friends never pass any judgements .They accept us as what we
are ,embracing all our negative points and eccentricities .
Friends always believe in you
There are periods in everyones' life where they may feel down and lose confidence in themselves .It is
then that the real value of friends shines through -they have faith in you and your ability at a time when
even you have stopped believing in yourself . Friends always share in our dreams and are as happy as us
when we achieve them .Good friends act as valuable guides , cautioning us when we tread the wrong
path and rejoicing in our success .Think of all those memorable moments in life - sweet success of the
first job , getting admission into our dream college ,birth of our children ..our friends are never far behind
to celebrate our success and give us a pat on the back.
Shoulder to cry on when you are down
In the darkest and most difficult periods of our lives ,our friends stand by us holding our hands ,or say
those few words which can comfort us .Be it a personal tragedy , heartbreak in love or while facing the
ups and downs of an adult life - our friends always make it easier .This is a way to test true friendship
.When things are going great everyone is a friend ,it is those who stick to you in the times of adversity
who are the true ones !!
Friends as soulmates
Sometimes people find the love of their life in their best friends . Such people are truly blessed ,as many
believe the foundations of true love is friendship .Seeing a close friendship of many years blossoming into
love ,is indeed very beautiful and heartwarming .
There can be many more reasons why our friends are so dear to us and why their friendship is so
precious . Friends fight for us when we are insulted ,defend us in front of the world and pray alongside us
in difficult times . But as important as it is to have friends ,equally important is to know how to maintain
them . The seeds of friendship need to be sowed deep and the plant needs to be carefully and tenderly
nurtured to bear a great fruit .
