WORKING EXPERIENCE.

December 2017 to Present.

BSS Engineer- HALOTEL (Viettel Tanzania).
Main Duties
 Commissioning and Integrating of Node B and BTS for Huawei and Nokia vendors
for both 2G and 3G sites.
 To ensure the network Availability in the country all 2G and 3G.
 Technical Supporting to the Field Engineers in Installation and local
commissioning of NodeB and BTS equipment to a new sites for both vendor
 nokia and Huawei.
 Daily alarms Monitoring of all Halotel sites by using U2000 for Huawei and
Tang4, BTS site manager and troubleshooting to clear the alarms for the
specific sites.
 Parameters configuration for all nokia sites in viettel Tanzania by using NetAct,
OMS, Tang4 and Nokia BTS manager (2G and 3G).
 Parameters configuration for all Huawei sites in viettel Tanzania by using U2000,
LMT (2G and 3G).
 RET integration and configuration for nokia sites and Huawei sites both 2G and 3G
during the network optimization.

 Downgrade and Upgrade of the TRXs for 2G and carrier upgrade for the 3G sites to
both nokia and Huawei vendor sites.

 Activate license to the NodeB and BTS for the Huawei sites.

2017 (July - December).

RF Engineer (Internship) – Huawei (Tanzania).

 Planning of the cell data design parameters for the new sites and cells expansion for
increasing capacity.

 Frequency planning for adding new TRX and cell for the capacity and coverage
expansion.

 Updating daily voice and data traffic database for the 3G and 2G and preparation of
the daily report.

 Preparation of 2G and 3G handover relations for the Huawei new sites.
