III. So often those in authority get the idea that they are independent of all authority.
A. You better have some check and balance system to keep yourself accountable to

people.
C. There are folks who are wicked, trouble makers who will leave.
D. You must give your attention to the people that you can help.
V. 1 Kings 15:5, “Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and turned
not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter
VI. 1 Kings 15:11, “And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his
father.”
VII. 1 Kings 15:25-26, “And Nadab the son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in the second

VIII. It did not say that these others did right and Nadab did wrong.
