The medical billing system is a powerful application designed to allow medical stores,
hospitals to streamline their billing tasks and manage current stock, purchase and sale pricing.
And produce MIS reports this system can be used my multi company medicine supplier.it has
product/medicine details with supplier name, supplier/vendor master with all details purchase
medicine, with rate, expiry date, sale product and produce various reports like stock in hand,
purchase and sale report, balance sheet.

1.Introduction

* The medical billing process begins with the patient registration.

* During this time necessary information such as the patient’s insurance, past
illnesses, any ongoing treatment, and other such medically relevant details are gathered.

2. Scope of the Project

Medical billing and coding having a bright future in India. USA healthcare market
increase day by day with more complicated disease and more big hospital and medical
organization.

3. Identification of the Problem

* Problems with patient care. The problems with medical billing errors aren’t just
clerical – they can negatively impact a patient’s care, too. …

4. Project Description

A medical biller is responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies

and payers such as Medicare and Medicaid. It is a position that is critical for the financial
cycle of all health care providers, from single-provider practices through large medical
centres.

7. Existing System and Drawbacks

Medical billings system projects main idea is to implement a software application for
medical shops and hospitals for maintaining easy billing system. In existing system medical
transactions and patients information is maintained in the form of manual records.

Drawbacks
 Change is unsettling any major change that you make in your medical practice
has the potential to backfire, making a bad situation worse. Outsourcing your medical billing
will require a change in your employees’ duties, new software, and different processes.

8. Proposed System and Advantages

Depicts the med book proposed system architecture. Med book saas application
servers as an integration point between the various participants in the healthcare delivery
system such as patients, healthcare providers, healthcare payer. Med book architecture
basically contains two modules such as client module and server module

10. Module Description

A medical biller is in charge of calculating and collecting payments for medical

procedure and services. Their work includes updating patient data, developing payment plans,
and preparing invoices. They work in medical administrative offices to ensure that patients
are billed quickly and accurately.
