The Qlik® Partner Green Line

Welcome to The Partner Green Line!

The Qlik® Partner Green Line is the ultimate partner tool to visualize your learning journey and
provide you with a tailored enablement experience; It is the next evolution of the Partner Learning
Tracks. Built on Qlik’s own technology - the Qlik® Analytics Platform (QAP) – the Partner Green Line
uses open source branch platform and mashup capabilities, which allow for the several key
enhancements:

- One single platform: Competencies have now been included into the Partner Green Line to
create a single interface experience.
- Partner type differentiation: pick between different maps based on your partner type.
- Role based differentiation: select your role within the line being either Commercial,
Technical, Marketing or Services.
- Prescriptive learning: content is differentiated into Competency and Recommended, to
define the steps of your learning journey and your QPP compliancy.
- Self-service progress tracking: keep track of your progress by autonomously marking the
assets you consumed.

How to navigate The Partner Green Line

The Partner Green Line is as easy as navigating a Subway map. Based on the partnership type your
organization has contracted with Qlik and based on your role within your organization, you will
navigate through different maps, lines, stations and categories.

By clicking on each station, you will get access to a wealth of informational content in the form of
whitepapers, presentations, demos, or videos – all of which have been curated and built into a
curriculum, based on your partner type.

This curriculum is created to support Competencies, which are a series of eLearning modules
required to be compliant with the Qlik® Partner Program. By successfully completing the assets
marked as Competency, you will be effectively completing the Competency requirements as per Qlik
Partner Program rules. For more details on the rules, please consult the Qlik Partner Program
documentation on the Partner Portal in the Partner Program section.

Maps
The Partner Green Line features different maps, based on your Partner Type.

To select a map, click on the Explore a map drop-down menu:

• OEM
• Solution Provider
• MSP (Managed Services)
• Technology

Lines
For each map, there are then different color-coded lines, as shown on the legend that you will find on
the top left-hand side of the screen. Each line indicates a path or route you need to choose, based on
your role. The Welcome and Intro line, indicated in Green, is common to all roles.

Assets for each line are categorized as:

• Competency - Online eLearning modules (QED) providing foundational knowledge on Qlik®

and Qlik® products. Mandatory for partners enrolled in the Qlik® Partner Program to achieve
Competency compliancy.
• Recommended – Additional content (QED, presentations, whitepapers, FAQ, etc.) to build
upon foundational knowledge and support opportunity pursuit.

When selecting a specific assets’ role, only the relevant stations will be highlighted on the map:

Stations
Just like for a traditional subway map, long each line there are various stations, each labeled with a
different topic:

When you are navigating The Partner Green Line, please bear in mind that maps scroll from left to
right and from top to bottom.

It’s likely that your path will be clear to you by simply looking at the legend. However, if you happen to
cover multiple roles within your organization, make sure you start with the line closer to the top of the
page, move then left to right and top down, as necessary.

It is important to follow this recommendation as knowledge from one station may be preparatory for
another station.

Categories
By clicking on a station, a pop-up box with a list of categories appears. Each category has an
appropriate icon next to it, indicating whether the resource is a document, a video, a course, or a
URL. You can click on each to review.

How to bookmark content and track progress

You know basically what The Partner Green Line is – a mashup using Qlik® products that provides a
unified front end to multiple repositories of content such as our eLearning platform, microsites and a
content library presented in a prescriptive, role-based format.

In order to customize your experience, The Partner Green Line allows you to bookmark items that you
have consumed and find of particular interest. When you have completed, downloaded, read an item
you have the option of check the box Consumed. As items are marked consumed, the station will "fill"
up so you get a good status overview of the level of completion of an individual station.

This functionality also acts as a bookmark to allow you to return to items that you find to be
particularly useful and/or informative.

 (One important note: Marking an eLearning module consumed does not equate to successfully
completing that module. That is tracked within QED and is explained below.)

The Partner Green Line also provides access to prescriptive modules within our eLearning platform
QED (Qlik Education and Development). Successful completion of all eLearning modules is tracked
within this application.

As mentioned previously, there are Required eLearning modules mandated to meet the demands of
the Qlik Partner Program Competencies. Progress on these modules can be viewed under Programs
within QED.
