Abstract:
Problem: How to determine the body temperature of a certain agricultural animal specifically
horses,cows chickens and such, to monitor the animals wellness , and track possible illnesses they
might have so that in such circumstances treatment can be given at the earliest opportunity
Solution: In order to determine the temperature of the Animals , a device is developed/invented that
will use sensors to determine the temperature of a certain animal to tell whether a certain animal is at
ease or not. Data are transmitted to a user interface remotely for monitoring and notification.

An animal wellness notification system includes an attachment body configured to securely

engage with an ear of the animal; an elongated temperature probe secured to the
attachment body and configured to extend within the ear of the animal; a housing secured
to the attachment body; a computer disposed within the housing and operably associated
with the temperature probe; and a notification device in data communication with the
computer, the notification device being configured to provide notice if a temperature of the
animal goes beyond a determined threshold.

654 is the closest prior art to the subject because it also uses heat sensors in order to detect the body
temperature of the animals and also has health monitoring but 654 failed to disclose the use of a
graphical user interface and portabiltity which makes the subject novel or better over 654.

1) A Temperature monitoring device that is exclusively used in animals comprising

-A Heat sensor
-A frame that is Rectangular in shape
-A frame consisting of buttons
- A system with user interface.
-A system feature that Suggest possible illnesses associated with the temperature of a certain
animal being tested.
2) The Temperature monitoring device according to claim 1,has a heat sensor that is exclusively
used to only monitor the temperature of a certain animal.
3) The Temperature monitoring device according to claim 1, has buttons whichs function is to
switch the device on or off, Also a button that enables a bluetooth feature that can be
connected to a mobile device where data is transmitted.
4) The Temperature monitoring device according to claim 1, wherein the system has a user
interface where data is transmitted and is controlled and assesed by the owner.
5) The Temperature monitoring device according to claim 1 , wherein the system has a feature
that asses the temperature of the animal being tested and provides the owner possible causes
and illnesses that is causing the rise in temperature,Also the preventive measures and possible
treatment to reduce damages.All these data is transmitted to the mobile device connected to
the temperature monitoring apparatus.
