Projects Undertaken

BHARTI AIRTEL LTD

Project details: Satisfactory level of retailers of Airtel at Patna. Project focused primarily on
three aspects, locating and identifying strategic locations for marketing communications

mediums for Brand visibility of Airtel. Identifying new mediums, Conducting Survey using
questionnaire and using statistical tools like correlation, Chi square test upon responses to
ascertain satisfactory level of retailers on parameters like Branding, Distributor service
provided to retailers and network. During the project identified a new branding medium
(Signage for important colonies of Patna) which was implemented by the company for
enhancing its brand visibility. During the project enhanced the satisfactory level of 50
retailers by effective service.

IDBI FORTIS LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED

Project details: Market penetration of IDBI Fortis life Insurance company Ltd at Chennai.
This project was undertaken to ascertain market penetration of IDBI Fortis Life Insurance
Company limited in comparison to other Insurance companies at Chennai. A sample study of
150 investors was conducted. Comparisons were made on parameters like geographical
coverage based on number of branches, awareness level among Investors about different
Insurance companies operating in Insurance sector, and numbers of investors for the company
in Traditional as well as Unit Linked Insurance plan within the sample size.

Short Term Projects

 Financial statement analysis of Axis Bank for Financial year 2005-06, 2006-07
and 2007-08 by Ratio analysis using key ratios like Solvency ratio and Profitability
ratios as part of internal assessment requirement for Management accounting.
 Calculation of Correlation between stocks of companies within Oligopolistic
market(Telecom sector)

 Study of Vishal mega mart and its product assortment for market penetration.
