IPv4 which is the current IP addressing system, will be
succeeded by IPv6, which will be much more efficient. WiFi
Routers connect your device to the WiFi and that connects
to Internet Service Providers, which connect your device to
billions of devices around the world. Modems recieve this
information from the ISP. Any website needs a Domain
Name (from the DNS) to link a name to the IP address. If
DNS was open to the public, it would be a target for DNS
Spoofing, which is basically being hacked. The internet
needs routers to help with the traffic of data transmission.
Another protocol called Transmission Control Protocol
manages what data is sent and recieved.

A Uniform Resource Locator is an address used to take

someone to a desired web site through a web browser.
