Subject: Invitation to Classical Swine Fever (CSF) Workshop/Training in

Mindanao on July 16-19, 2019

Sir:
The Bureau of Animal is organizing a workshop/training in Sarangani Highlands
Garden, Purok Wal, Tambler, General Santos City, 9500 South Cotabato on July 16-
19, 2019.

The objective of the workshop/training are : a) to assess the the progress of geotagging
activities of DA-RFOs and train the relevant application for use in monitoring CSF
disease and free status in their respective areas of jurisdiction; b) to train simulation
exercises for disease outbreak and traceability of infection sources; c) active
engagement and participation in the activities for a workable eradication plan.

To achieve these objectives, may we invite Dr. Sanchez or your representative to update
on the provincial status of CSF control and eradication program in your area . The
output will be relevant on the way forward to eradicate CSF in Mindanao.
