‘‘ Soul Surfer ’’

 Based on true-life events, the movie Soul Surfer narrates the life
of Bethany Hamilton as a kid up to her adolescence and the incident
shark attack, which resulted a loss of one of her arms. In the weeks
and even months that followed, her parents struggled to keep her
strong even as they learn to adjust and process the overwhelming
feelings. As for Bethany, she started questioning herself and her
future, being challenged and having trouble along the way, almost
gave up on her passion, surfing for believing that a one handed person
cant do it, and almost lost hope but as she goes to Thailand for
volunteering and seeing the devastated state of the country, she
discovers a greater purpose: to make a difference in the lives of
others. In the end Bethany had two challenges to face: one, to get
back on the board with confidence and joy. And two, to come in peace
within herself over the tragedy which she successfully overcome with
the help of her friends, family and her Christian faith for she believed
that she belongs to the water and where she is meant to be, she will
find a way to get there.
